08/12/2000 - Muting the modem on Windows CE devices
To prevent the modem from using the speaker whilst dialling out do the following:
1. Click Start/Programs/Communcation/Remote Networking 2. Right click on the dial up connection you wish to mute and choose Properties 3. Click the Configure button 4. Click the Call Options tab 5. In the extra Settings box at the bottom of the dialogue type 'M0' ( that's a zero, and don't type the quotes!)
The modem will then be quiet
